How the
Partnership Works
From introduction to installation — considered, and simple. You bring the project; we bring the houses, the pricing, and the discipline to see it delivered right.

The market gives a serious designer two poor choices.
Buy Retail
Thin margins, clients pricing you against a showroom floor, and little room to customize. You lose the project, or you lose the profit.
Open Every Account Yourself
A dozen applications, logins, and policies to keep straight — the best houses gatekeeping the smaller studio, and the week disappearing into logistics that have nothing to do with design.
There is a third way. It is this.
One relationship. Every house.
Once you're approved, you request a quote on anything — a piece in the collection, a full room, or something you haven't found yet. We return designer pricing quoted to the project, place the order across whatever houses it touches, and carry it through freight, receiving, and claims. One point of contact, fluent in the work, from first quote to final placement.
Introduce Yourself

Request a Quote
Send an RFQ on anything — in the collection or beyond it.
Approve the Proposal
A clean, itemized proposal at designer pricing. You confirm.
Placed & Delivered
Ordered across the houses, tracked, and delivered — inspected.
If you can specify it, we can quote it.
Most upholstery — and much of the casegoods — can be made to your specification: your fabric, your finish, your dimensions. And if it's a house or a piece you don't see on Sutter & Vale, send the particulars; we'll source and quote it where we can.

How we protect the delivery.
We hold every order to the standard that prevents most claims: inspect within 48 hours; photograph the damage, all four corners, and every label; and never let a piece be opened for the first time in your client's home. We recommend shipping to a receiver — so anything wrong is caught and corrected before your client is ever involved. If a claim is needed, it is ours to pursue until it is made right.
