The Athena Occasional Chair from Baker Furniture's Milling Road Originals collection reinterprets the ancient klismos silhouette with an authority that is at once archaeological and entirely current. Its tightly upholstered seat is held within a sculptural blackened bronze frame, the metal worked with a presence that reads as both structural and ornamental. Two finish expressions — Blackened Bronze and a warmer sculptural Bronze — allow the chair to anchor a room with shadow or illuminate it with quiet luminosity.
