All Around Is Nothing 3 is part of a series of six geometric works on paper that call to mind the work of British Op-Art artist Bridget Riley circa the 1960s. The series features a single geometric circle in varying angles and monochromatic shades. In this work, the axis is tilted, and contrasting graphite and bone white bands form the geometric circle giving it a 3D effect. Here, the background is overlapped by a translucent ring of repeating pattern.
Drawing the viewer's gaze toward the singular spherical object and the surrounding translucent form, All Around is Nothing 3 invites the viewer to engage in a philosophical reflection of the nature of reality and one's place within it. An original addition to the exclusive ART by TA Collection.
