Tapered and faceted, this sandblasted oak pedestal narrows from a crisp white cap down to a stepped, pyramidal base, its grain left soft and pale in the wash. Oval cutouts on two faces, ringed in blackened metal and glazed with a frosted, mottled pane, catch light like a pair of clouded portholes, lending the silhouette an almost architectural, lantern-like quality suited to a foyer or gallery corner.
