Macallan Wall Panels, Set of 4

The Macallan panels command a wall the way a well-placed aperture commands a room — with absolute architectural authority. Each of the four panels rises to eighty-two inches, their églomisé surfaces worked in antiqued mirror and stone against a ground of Valyrian Gold, a finish that reads less as gilding than as something geological, like light trapped beneath centuries of sediment. The result is simultaneously ancient and entirely of the present, a play of reflectivity and depth that shifts with every hour of the day. Installed as a suite, they do not decorate a room so much as complete it.
