Clayey Rock Sculpture-Rust Red

A weathered disc in rust and charcoal tones, its surface worked in concentric rings of pitted, hand-tooled texture that recall growth rings or ripples across water. Raised on a slender blackened stand with a broad rectangular base, it holds the eye through the negative space of its open center, equally at home on a console or floating within a niche.
