Highland House makes the case that comfort and elevated design were never actually in tension. Its Profiles program lets you design your own upholstery from the ground up; the Jacques collection sells tables by the inch; Hotesse and Sutton bring the same custom logic to dining and upholstered seating. Solid construction throughout, but the real signature is how livable it all feels — refined enough for a design magazine, comfortable enough for an actual Tuesday.
